Workshops in Majdanpek, eastern Serbia

Our great wish to work wtih kids outside Belgrade was fulfilled through collaboration with the multimedia festival from Majdanpek, called Sound&Visions.

Workshops were organized inside the empty pool in the local primary school where we played with kids making masks, and various paper objects. We, also prepared an musical set up where kids could play and record music using various electronic devices. It was very exciting experience to be creative inside the empty swimming pool.

Second edition of the Sound&Visions festival featured numerous young audio visual artists from the region as well as special site-specific residency program developed by Dis-patch festival. Residency was located at the Zaton lake with the aim to gather young visual artists who were working on so called OFF[line] Guide through the industrial and mining complex of Majdanpek.
